Split testing
Split testing is really powerful and will help your conversions more so.
Split testing is really simple to set up, and with Sendlys automated optimisation it will do the work for you!
To get started with split testing your funnel steps. Go to the funnel step you want to create a split test with. Hover over the step and the A/B test button will appear
Select an option
You now have 2 options
- Duplicate page
- New page
Duplicating the step will simply duplicate the original step, you can edit the new step too.
New Page: This enables you to create an entirely new page design if required.

Step Optimisation
Winner select - Selecting your winning split test page. When selecting the Automatically tab 'shown below' Sendly will take over and fully optimise the winning step for you.
The winner threshold: Entering a number here basically means the number of people to hit that page/step.
For example: If you select 100, when the funnel step reaches 100 people in total it will automatically work out which side converted more. A or B. Then once Sendly has gathered that data it will automatically turn off the losing step and push all visitors to the winning step. In turn; optimising the entire funnel for you
Turn Off Split test
If you need to turn off the split testing for any reason, you can do so manually. Go back to the selected funnel step > Select the cog icon and it will bring you back to the winners pop up. Select manually and then select which step you deem as the winner. This will remove the losing step.
Step history
If you have been creating split test pages, turning them off and creating new test pages. You are able to view all split test data.
You will see a timer icon on the funnel step 'shown below' Click that icon and the split test history will be shown in the pop up.
